The BattleLore Universe

BattleLore is Days of Wonder’s game of ancient/fantasy combat designed by Richard Borg. His system, known as Commands and Colors, spans several different games and this is the latest incarnation. BattleLore has a base game, followed by expansions, with some out now and several releases planned for the near future. TC Games and More will be carrying the entire line of BattleLore products as they are released.

Completely Doomed, the graphic novel

I started reading stories by Robert Bloch and Richard Matheson when I was a teenager. If anyone could capture an atmosphere of just plain “creepy”, it was these two guys. Richard Matheson gave me The Incredible Shrinking Man, Prey, and I Am Legend, just to name a few. Robert Bloch introduced me to a whole set of Cthulhu Mythos stories that I wasn’t aware of at the time. IDW Publishing has released their “Doomed” series in a graphic novel version that is 240 pages of creepy bliss. As well as stories from Bloch and Matheson, there are entries from David J. Schow and F. Paul Wilson.
